How to use
On the page you want to work with, open CAPTZ from the extension icon and choose “Freeform”.
- Hold the mouse button down and draw the outline of the area you want.
- Release to capture and wait for confirmation that the image was copied.
- Paste the image into your destination app. The area outside the outline is transparent; Preview does not open.
Tip: Press Esc before releasing the mouse button to cancel the outline.
● Captures, videos, GIFs, and OCR continue to be processed locally.
