How to use
On the page you want to work with, open CAPTZ from the extension icon and choose “Quick GIF”.
- Wait for the 3, 2, 1 countdown. Recording starts automatically; if Chrome asks for a sharing source, choose one and confirm.
- Perform the action you want to demonstrate. Click the stop button in the indicator to finish before the automatic 15-second limit.
- Wait for the GIF to be generated. On the result screen, review the animation and click the download-GIF button.
Tip: Quick GIF does not include audio. Use Record screen when you need video with optional audio.
● Captures, videos, GIFs, and OCR continue to be processed locally.
